Guess who just forgot the word for spider and yelled at Husband to come and remove a scuttlefuck from the bathroom.

Neglected this specific social medias but lots of people seem to be appearing over here again. I have little to report but I do have a very cuddly dog and one of my most anticipated reads of this year.

Our gorgeous dog niece (and mum of our Wanda) died today. We're gutted. She was the goodest girl. Rest easy Noodle 💔

Pleased to report husband did not wander over any rainbow bridges and is now home safe.
When your husband is having an operation this week but forgets you are an anxious bean so jokes about going over the rainbow bridge.

Wild to say that Eat The Ones You Love comes out this year. This year that we’re in. The road has been long but it’s time to get real weird about flowers and coworkers

This cabbage crockery is hands down the best treat I've given myself this year. It brings me so much joy every time I see and use it.

Trying to forward on inheritances to people and the bank keeps flagging them all as fraud. Which, fair. But also please just let me pay these people so I never have to deal with them again.

Book 155 was Ember Spark and the Frost Phoenix by Abi Elphinstone. Abi never misses. This was a brilliant MG adventure packed with brilliant magical creatures. I love Arno and his very honest "I need time to warm up to adventures".

Book 154 was Sun of Blood and Ruin by Mariely Lares. I enjoyed the first part of this but got a bit lost with the second half and struggled with the paving. Loved that it was set during the Spanish colonization of Mexico - it was a really interesting perspective.

I'm absolutely not recreating my thread of books I've read this year at this point but book 153 was A Fire in the Sky by Sophie Jordan. Loved it. Every time I thought I knew what was going on, Sophie was like, lol no. Jaw dropping final scene. I need the sequel immediately.

I won! It's a chest infection. Antibiotics and lots of rest so taking to my sofa with cuddly dogs and my current read (A Fire in the Sky by Sophie Jordan)
What brand of childhood trauma is the ringing the Dr for an appointment because I feel cold (poss chest infection/ asthma flare) but then panicking that I'm wasting their time and there's actually nothing wrong with me?
