What's the plan, Governor?
At least 501 Virginians have made initial UI claims tied to federal employers. The count comes as the federal government's plans to slash jobs remain hazy — and as economists and policymakers try to plan for the possible economic fallout. via @jahd.bsky.social

The medical wings of UVA and VCU have no basis for denying care to patients and potential patients for non-medical reasons when multiple federal courts have blocked the executive order and the Code of #Virginia prohibits discrimination on account of gender identity in the Virginia Human Rights Act.
A federal judge has issued a preliminary injunction blocking enforcement of the Trump administration’s executive order threatening federal funding for institutions that provide gender-affirming care for anyone under 19.

Unfortunately, Virginia continues to face teacher shortages. Could laid off federal workers help here?

Youngkin wants to be picked so badly.
REMINDER: Ahead of Trump’s joint address to Congress, Glenn Youngkin & Winsome Earle-Sears continue to back Trump’s attacks on Virginia’s workforce and economy.

Virginians deserve a governor who will stand up to Trump—not support him as he tears apart Virginians’ lives.

Building energy creates jobs, lowers the cost of living and fosters a dynamic economy.

One thing the article doesn’t note is this bill changes the percentage of these projects that will be created by non-Dominion businesses from 35% to 65%. That means more economic opportunity.
My bill with @scvanvalkenburg.bsky.social and @selc.bsky.social. This will get more solar to the places everyone agrees it should go. It also protects ratepayers (all of us who pay electric bills) and incentivizes more renewable energy. Proud to have worked on it!
