"See the naked lady and judge for yourself!" created a box office bonanza as moviegoers clamored to weigh in on this very serious question. (Even the forest creatures seemed interested.)

BOTD in Lviv: Henrik Galeen (1881-1949). Screenwriter for Murnau's NOSFERATU (1922) and co-credited in Robert Eggers' new adaptation. Collaborated on numerous other Expressionist gems, including Paul Wegener's DER GOLEM, WIE ER IN DIE WELT KAM (1924), and ALRAUNE (1928), which he also directed.
