I have a budgie named Atlas (although I think I just call him budge more 😂)

He has one of the best views in our house.

He’s quite a chatty bird.

I haven’t really changed my look since I was a teen. So here’s of photo of me when I’m 16 as the bridesmaid for my sisters wedding. I’m wearing makeup! Which I never do!

Now that I’ve worked out my finances, I’ve made my pledge!

Couldn’t pass up on the signed Siouxsie/Toby covid graphic. I absolutely loved these. They made it so easy to understand what we needed to know. We printed out so many and put them up at work. Some are still up on the wall!

7yo got a new scooter… we are hoping this one is strong enough to deal with his roughness!

And he is hoping for better weather so we can go to the local skate park

Took the 7yo to his first Phoenix game…

He lasted the 1st half then got distracted with the activities on inside the stadium

So he saw Brisbane score and missed both of the Phoenix ones 😂

But he still said he enjoyed it

I’m surprised that the sun has come out given the rain we had this morning

Means football is on!

And the coffee cart is here, with super cute unicorn cupcakes. I just had to get one

Partner is distracting the 7yo by continuing to build his fort.

So I’m finally unpacking some of my personal stuff in my bedroom.

So glad to have some of my fav things back together beside my bed ❤️
A little shelf, which I made when I was about 11 or 12. On the top shelf is a framed photo of an older couple. They are both smiling at the camera. Beside the framed picture is a teddy bear dressed as a monk. Above the framed photo is a blue ribbon, which was the ribbon tied around my bouquet at my sister’s wedding. Behind the photo is a hand drawn picture of my son that my mother in law did.

Been prepping for the back of house tour this week and thise of us giving the your have chosen some fav items from the rare book collection to show during it.

I just had to choose this. I still remember the excitement I got when I found out we had a copy in the collections

From when we started having open homes, about 6 months ago, we decided to keep our budgie at the in laws.

Had to deal with another pretty big meltdown from the 7yo again

But staring at the patterns that the lightshade in his bedroom makes is quite soothing
