I have such great memories of attending the Parachute Festival in the early 2000s. Including Brooke Fraser’s performance on the main stage where her set started late. Organisers had to ask the neighbours if they could go later than curfew. Brooke kept whispering through the mic until the ok came
I wear rings, a necklace & have pierced ears.
Problem is, I never change the jewellery I wear. My partner hates it 😂 (although 2 of the rings are from him)
I occasionally wear bracelets, when I go out (on the rare occasion). But they are a hazard at work, so I stopped there.

So many people kept being surprised that I wasn’t taking my birthday off from work.
Today I just went fuck it, and booked it off.
Luckily my manager was also someone who was surprised, so he approved it quickly 😂

It’s an organisation close to my heart due to the support they gave me when my son was in NICU.

A neighbour of my Nan’s in her retirement village nearly caused a fire when she forgot about something cooking on her stove top.
It’s a small risk, but they should definitely also consider banning cooking too then 🤷♀️

Because the 7yo was so good at getting ready for bed, including doing things without being asked (like brushing his teeth) we rewarded him with 3 picture books for bedtime

Just had a little walk along my block and found it sitting on the seat at the bus stop
