I get to page 237 of a murder mystery novel to find the whole plot revolves around a #BirthCertificate, but it is clear the author has no idea about how #CivilRegistration works, or what info could, or couldn't, be on there and they got it within 10mins, online from the County Archive ?

Our South Central network group will be representing AGRA at Somerset and Dorset Family History Society's 50th Anniversary History Day on 27 September.
It's almost like the enumerator is taunting us .... today I'm trying to sort out a complicated family in the 1851 census and so very helpfully the key person in the household is just noted as a "Relative".
Still - who wants #Genealogy to be easy ..
