Here's a composite #TimeLapse I recorded on Thursday as pop up showers and thunderstorms moved through the area. Cumulus clouds gradually grew taller until by the second half of this video when they evolved into cumulonimbus clouds with anvil tops as thunderstorms formed to the southwest.

An entire afternoon of storms in time lapses. The first part shows storms that came through around noon today, the next part a couple hours later. The final part shows the cold front coming through as clouds shift to right to left (from the west). #ilwx
