Here's a composite #TimeLapse I recorded on Thursday as pop up showers and thunderstorms moved through the area. Cumulus clouds gradually grew taller until by the second half of this video when they evolved into cumulonimbus clouds with anvil tops as thunderstorms formed to the southwest.

Keeping an eye on possible severe weather this afternoon. There's a 60% chance a watch is issued soon for much of central Illinois and part of northern Illinois. Tornadoes, hail up to 3.5 inches and wind gusts up to 80 mph are possible.
