Anyone watching Hegseth to make sure he's still drinking water at the inauguration banquet?

At the indoor parade, Musk thanks the crowd, saying nhhis heart goes out to them for the win. His “my heart to yours” gesture looks awfully similar to a fascist salute.

We frequently call them bun-rabs here, after the character puppet Bun-Rab on the old kids’ morning show “Captain Kangaroo.”
Look at the ears on that Arizona Sonoran Desert bun-rab!

(Does anyone else in the world call them bun-rabs sometimes? The borb-shaped bunnies? I think I got that from the Midwest in Olden Days.)

Another idea is a “book that shuts the fuck up,” where the author, alive or dead, is not turned into worthless content slurry for some dickhead CEO to make more money. The book sits atop the large language bank that is only the book and nobody converses with shit, you just fucking read it.

Today is our 50th anniversary & the 5th anniversary of marriage. Photo dates from early 80’s, when William played recorder in the Brandenberg Concerto No. 4 & I played continuo. My white tux is an early 1950’s vintage After Six tuxedo that belonged to Mr. Jackson (William’s dad).

Trying out the app, mainly because a few friends from 'somewhere else' have given up that place. Slowly exploring this new place. I like it so far!
