My 13 year old has been doing shooter drills for 9 years. I've been doing them at work for the last 6 or 7.

Found my old kindle that I got back in like, 2013 or something, powered it up and it still works pretty perfectly.
I dont really want to support Amazon, but I use video for my littlest, so I might as well take advantage of prime reading.

I'm about halfway through Lady Justice, and I love it.
I have a couple of attorneys in my family who have different focuses, and I've read up on a lot of laws on the books here in Nevada, so I recognize a chunk of the terminology used, which actually has me surprised by my own self.

It might not seem like it from the outside. But I have had to work incredibly hard not to lose myself in motherhood.
I have been in the trenches with my 4 year old since he started walking at 10 months old. He is a different kind of kid. A much more bombastic personality compared to my preteen.

But I told him how people will say millennials are soft while bypassing all those Disney movies they put in front of us when we were kids.

Things like, Wikipedia isn't a reliable source for information. (In 2005, it wasn't. It's since improved, but still should cross check their sources at the end of their articles.)

I've spent about $200 on books the last week.
Beginning not to trust the longevity of digital reading platforms, despite their convenience.
Our personal library also needs some updating and new additions.
Need a good set of bookshelves, too. I'll be working on this for a while. 🙃
