To me the worst part of seeing this is that they could only convince half of the people in this photo to do even THIS.

Threatening them with news of destroyed 401k's and Social Security benefits in the toilet won't work. They have spent their whole life planning to work until they drop and achieve room temperature.

It doesn't matter that this retirement-free life is a completely nuts and grotesquely unrealistic goal for anyone in the working class to have. This came from their god.

I still cannot believe that they are going page by page through the 900-page playbook that so many warned was always the plan, and so many didn't believe it or thought it was ok to just let it all crash and burn.

Gonna need you to wipe the Pikachu look off your face and batten down the hatches. This is happening because we let it happen. The practical thing to do now is look for ways to clean it up if we're still here when the time comes.
