Introduction to Martyr! Summary And Book Review: A Poetic Journey of Grief Good Afternoon. How do you build a life when your very existence is framed by a monumental loss? Kaveh Akbar, already a celebrated poet, brings a poet's precise and lyrical eye to this story of a man drowning in grief and addiction. The protagonist, Cyrus, is one of the most authentically rendered characters I've encountered—a recovering addict and poet whose search for meaning is both intellectually fierce and deeply vulnerable.

Europe is in danger of becoming a plaything, not a player

Unless the EU regulates the tech platforms, they are unfettered in their freedom to damage democracy and make social media unsafe, especially for children. Nor should Europe sacrifice social safety nets..

This should be a wake up call to Keir Starmer. Trump is not a reliable ally.

Trump wants to weaken Europe and carve up Ukraine while cosying up to Putin. Britain and our allies in Europe must stand together against his threats and bullying.
