Handing back student work that’s been written by ChatGPT with a 0 followed by the comment “This essay will never stand in authentic wonder before the Beauty of God’s creation.”
Pope Leo XIV told students not to use artificial intelligence for homework, saying that AI ‘won’t stand in authentic wonder before the beauty of God’s creation.’

there is no word intellectuals like better than “palimpsest.” They will use it on the barest of pretexts, no matter the theme they will find a way to say it. It is simply their favorite word

Today’s shooting at Florida State is far from the first mass shooting to take place in Tallahassee, even at the university itself, in recent memory. I was in high school when there was a mass shooting at FSU’s library in 2014. In 2018, another mass shooter claimed innocent lives at a yoga studio.

I gave a talk at the Illinois Junior Classical League state convention and brought books, because as a nerdy 16 year old someone handing me a book of Greek plays was the dream. The moment I passed out the first book these kids were SCREAMING is this what being a rock star feels like?

Critics have wondered if the Democrats intend to stand up to Trump’s onslaught at all.

Florida Rep. @maxwellfrost.bsky.social spoke to Teen Vogue at length about the Democrats’ plan for taking on Trump and what he’s willing to risk to obstruct Elon Musk's government takeover. ⤵️

I just found out there's a new Philomena Cunk series coming out next week and my heart is beating in anticipation much like the thumping beat of Belgium dance band Technotronic's 1989 hit single Pump Up The Jam

salmon hat
In 1987, orcas started putting salmon on their foreheads, & we're not entirely sure why. But then the behavior mostly disappeared for decades.

Now, another member of the southern resident killer whales has been spotted with a so-called "salmon hat". 🧪

Why these orcas are wearing salmon as hats (again)
First observed in the 1980s, the fad of orcas swimming around with dead salmon on their foreheads off Washington State seemed to have faded—until now.
