Remember the supply chain problems from COVID? And later, from the war in Ukraine? Well, get ready for missing goods from Trump's trade war. The ships aren't arriving, that means the truckers won't be trucking, then there will be empty shelves.
What’s up with Elliott Bay’s missing cargo ships?
The absence of big cargo ships on Elliott Bay may be a harbinger of a bigger slowdown at the ports of Seattle and Tacoma as the effects of America’s trade war with China start to hit home.

Just heard from a friend who is a true hero veteran. His company was destroyed in 30 days by the VA when they canceled 5 contracts without notice. 23 Americans mostly veterans out of work and a veteran owned small business destroyed. For nothing. They're dismantling the VA not "reforming" it.

I want to send him my own message of support, but instead, sharing and commenting.

He stood up and spoke truth to power, then got arrested for taking like, 3 steps forward. The board approved the nazi plaque, but now they have millions of eyes on them for doing so.

This story can't be repeated enough. The GOP is lined up behind the guy who is so incompetent that his quasi-gov't agency did this. They're confirming his highly questionable nominees & hurting the American people.

And "accidentally"? It was stupidity, not accident. www.nbcnews.com/politics/dog...

The people terminated would have become CDC's future experts. They take these 'disease detective' jobs at a salary way less than what they could get in the private sector, to be of public service. Are these firings legal?
News: Half of CDC "disease detectives" terminated. DOGE takes aim at US disease surveillance.
Entire first-year class of the Epidemic Intelligence Service must be out by 5 p.m., sources say. Also: a major CDC contractor "just let go," and others may follow.

Opinion | On November 5th, voters gave Donald Trump an overwhelming mandate to seize Gaza, Greenland, and the Panama Canal while passing off domestic control to Elon Musk. Why is this so hard for the Left to understand?

Whenever you hear someone sneer about scientific research that seems useless to them — “they’re studying the spit of lizards?!” — remind them that’s exactly how we got Ozempic.
