Moreover, Zelenskyy knows deals w Trump & Putin are worthless - neither cares about past commitments unless they need to instrumentalise them. Europe needs to understand that its security as well as UA's is at stake, & increase all forms of pressure on RU. It can do a lot even without the US. 2/2

The headline doesn’t reflect what the article says, which is that the UK shares Trump’s goal of an end to the war, and urges Russia to withdraw its forces. Mealy-mouthed way of saying that the UK disagrees with Trump, without provoking Trump into saying “Quiet, piggy” to Starmer.
