I would argue that in terms of impressive women vs impressive men in the LP, the side is with women, but there might be an element of bias because I am one.

I joined because I was inspired by Jess Phillips and Angela Rayner.

I joined in December 2019, but this my first year going to in person events.

I just know that like Rayner and Phillips before her, if I weren't already a member of the LP, she would have been part of my inspiration to join.

She is first rate and one to watch. Personable, and brilliant in the HoC too. This is what irritates me about the Al Carns hype, perfectly fine male politicians are held on a pedestal, while far more impressive women aren't even part of the conversation.
