The best(?) automatic reply I ever saw was one that said all the emails during the person's A/L were automatically deleted, so try again later 😆

You've given me ideas around leave-related automatic replies! I probably need to get over the idea that it's odd to have automatic replies on for a long time (piling up other people's inboxes when they email me), but that might be the best solution to let them know that I'm not as available as usual

Thank you, this is helpful! I use gmail and outlook addresses for work-related stuff and have filtered mailing list comms to be sent to specific folders, bypassing the inbox (this has been helpful to an extent), but then I see the number of unopened emails in these other folders... 🤦‍♀️
