It's always a good feeling when you believe that you have solved a mystery that's been bugging you for a long time haha. Whatever this club belongs to (from the dead individual) is likely the same as the live one seen back in 2024! Believe it to be "B. riisei" but we shall see :)

I know that this is typically strictly a cephalopod page, however, every so often there is something I have never seen before but have looked forward to seeing for the first time!

To all cephalopod people! @invertebabe.bsky.social took initiative and is doing a cool "art card" set with art made by some amazing cephalopod artists! The money will be going to the amazing new Cephref website which will be an improvement from Tolweb!

We'll start with some amazing video footage of a Mastigoteuthid that was found off the coast of Chile by Schmidt Ocean Institute! Amazing looking specimen!
