Horror is my obsession. Everything else is alright, I guess.

Want to share once again that BLAME! is one of the best manga ever created, my personal all-time fave, and I highly recommend reading all 10 volumes if you haven't. It's very visual, with little dialogue, so just soak in the atmosphere. ❤️

The changes are silly, and Eddie calling James "Jimmy" made me laugh, but I am still 100% here for it. ❤️ I didn't spot it in my first watch of the trailer, but please please please include the Mandarins. 🙏

I've always been a huge Smashing Pumpkins fan. Siamese Dream is, in my opinion, one of the best albums ever released. I'm listening to them a lot again, lately, so wanted to share my 10 favorite songs:

Watched The Retreat (2021). Very anxiety-inducing to see these characters in this situation, but at the same time, tense throughout and ultimately cathartic. F**k homophobes.

Re-watched Machete (2010) last night, and wow... Still just as relevant - if not more so - today.

We watched two Steven Seagal movies over the weekend. Under Siege (1992) and Vengeance is Mine (2012). The former was of course much more competently made, with Tommy Lee Jones as a wild villain, but the latter film made me laugh a lot more. So, which was more enjoyable? 🤷‍♂️

I'm really enjoying Welcome to Derry much more than expected. Chris Chalk stands out as a perfect Hallorann. I still do not enjoy when a very creepy scene quickly devolves into CGI-galore, but this already surpasses the last two films, in my opinion.

YES! Please, I need more Clöyne. 🤡🙏
Does Jon Watts plan on making a sequel to his 2014 horror movie CLOWN?

"[We] have it all mapped out. We’d want to do seven of them. There are a lot of facets to the story that we’re still interested in telling."

He teases, "Anyone can put on the suit."

The latest entry, V/H/S/Halloween, has seemingly broken the combo of bad wraparounds. I actually enjoyed this one's wraparound. The only segment I really didn't enjoy was 'Kidprint.' I get the shock value, but otherwise, who wants to watch that kind of thing? 'Coochie Coochie Coo' was my fave.

Alien Earth is my 3rd-favorite in the franchise, only below Alien and Aliens.

Ep 1-2: Perfect, no notes
Ep 3-4: Great, minor quips
Ep 5: Great
Ep 6-8: Gradually lost interest in the plot; wanted more Xeno and less "sheep angrily staring at things non-stop"

Overall, great first season.

This does sound exactly like me, but rather than "pretending to be dumb," I'm just way too quiet. I find peace in solitude, but I love the people who take the time to break through my wall.

Well, I enjoyed Bring Her Back quite a lot more than Talk to Me. Good performances, interesting story... I'm just not a fan of the directors' specific tastes for gross-out horror scenes ("Kiss him on the lips" had me in stitches, though). Still, I will admit, this one held my attention throughout.

The song 'Engine No. 9' by Deftones has been stuck in my head, and I found myself wondering if 'Evil Engine No. 9' in the PS1 game Skullmonkeys was directly inspired by the song title. Looks like it's just a coincidence, but still cool.
