Ilhan Omar: “In the 4 years when Biden was president, my death threats went to almost zero — now they are back up — so there is a clear correlation between his presidency & the political violence that we see & the political danger that a lot of members of Congress & electeds feel across the country”

Americans know our health care system is broken.

A recent poll found that 70% of Vermonters support a Medicare for All single-payer system.

Congress must understand that health care is a human right — not a privilege.

We must pass Medicare for All.
New poll on healthcare: Vermonters want to extend ACA subsidies

The Washington Post endorses Trump's call for a 50% increase in the military budget, to $1.5 trillion. And it has to happen now, before Democrats get back into power, because they'll want more social spending as well--"which the nation cannot afford."

We spend twice as much per capita on health care as almost any nation on Earth. We pay the highest prescription drug prices in the world. 85 million Americans are uninsured or underinsured.

Republicans — pathetically — have nothing serious to say about the health care crisis.

I don't think most Americans realize how hard tariffs are about to hit them. The combination of 1) escalating tariffs, 2) companies slowly passing the cost to consumers, and 3) the repeal of the de minimis exemption in the Big Beautiful Bill, a lot stuff will be more expensive in 2027.
