The announcement comes on the heels of the Department of Defense being renamed to the Department of Blood for the Blood God and Skulls For His Throne, at the request of Secretary Angron, Daemon Prince of Khorne.

The ruined streets of Terra's imperial palace zones were further damaged by the waves of Land Raiders, Leviathan Dreadnoughts, Warlord Titans, and Sicarian and Kratos battle tanks, to sparse attendance from surviving Terrans perhaps weary of many years of battle and chaos.

Several other prominent Loyalists, including Vulkan of the Salamanders and Jenetia Krole of the Silent Sisterhood, expressed reservations about the idea of working with the Dark Mechanicum, and that Kelbor-Hal's loyalties would remain forever in doubt, regardless of his feelings towards Horus.
