Been busy. REALLY busy. Here’s some of what I’ve been doing.
3 Scotland oil paintings, plus the two already finished, makes 5. Also 10 Scotland watercolors. Will post them some other time. Also have 5 Portugal pieces. Hope to find a gallery to rep me somewhere in the EU. Please pass it on.

I just did something i could never imagining myself doing: I canceled my subscription to the New York Times. I grew up reading the Sunday Times around the breakfast table. My father and i loved Russell Baker amd William Safire. My favorites have all moved to Substack anyway.

TIL about a memorial ceremony in Iceland in 2019 to mark the end of a glacier, changing the place name from Okjökull to Ok (jökull = glacier). Uncompromising wording on the bronze plaque:
"This is to acknowledge that we know what is happening and what needs to be done. Only you know if we did it".
