Because the abilities of adults with Down syndrome vary, it's important to establish a cognitive baseline that you can use as a comparison if your loved one's behaviour starts to change.

Down Syndrome Regression Disorder (DSRD) is a rare neuropsychiatric condition often characterized by the loss of previously acquired skills.
