Budgets are moral documents, and in St. Joe, working people shoulder a heavy burden to finance our city. We owe them good stewardship of their tax dollars and programs that help them thrive.

Yesterday, millions of Americans made their voices heard at the ballot box.

St. Joseph citizens will have that same chance in February and April when we elect a city council that works for working people.

If you're fired up, come and help out the campaign this weekend.

We have to face hard truths and have difficult conversations if we want our city to improve. Today, I had the privilege to hear from folks who are struggling and need help to be able to thrive. This campaign is about listening to and delivering for the working people of St. Joe. See you soon!

Civic engagement should be centered around a future we long for and the path that gets us there. We can struggle on that path, but the vision needs to be what sustains us all through that struggle. Today, I want to talk about something that inspired me this weekend. Have a great week!

The civic conversation and the decisions that are made in our community should be made by the whole community and not just those with the deepest pockets.

Making it easier to build in St. Joe's existing neighborhoods:

✅️ Provides more jobs
✅️ Provides more business opportunities
✅️ Makes existing homes more valuable
✅️ Provides new revenue to sustain critical city services

We can make this happen!
