I seriously can’t decide if I’m dumbfounded by the fact that this is happening or just that it’s happening on behalf of a convicted felon. Were there really no better Republicans available?
I am not live posting the whole argument here because I want to listen closely to Trump v. Slaughter. But the solicitor general for Trump just said the point here in killing the independence of agencies like the FTC is that executive branch officers must “fear and obey” the president. Wow. #SCOTUS

This man ripped off teachers, nurses, small business owners - people from all walks of life and professions. Some lost their life savings. Not only did Trump let him out of prison, he also doesn’t have to pay back the victims.
