I appreciate you articulating this, i felt the same but haven’t been able to put it to words. the thing I remembered clearest from 2020 was genuinely not knowing if we’d make it to inauguration without collapsing. feeling that again before the new term even started was harrowing.

This misses the point. The post says it’s possible for Black people to be prejudiced against white people because of our whiteness. The point being made is this is a completely different dynamic than racism because anti-white prejudice isn’t reinforced by institutions.

In other words, individual Black people could feel & express prejudice, but there’s not a society-wide system reinforcing that prejudice. There IS a system that enforces white supremacy, though, & that reinforces individual racism and vice versa.

The post literally addresses that — it says it’s possible for Black people to be prejudiced against white people because of our whiteness. The point being made is this is a completely different dynamic than racism because anti-white prejudice isn’t reinforced by institutions.

honestly for me it just always feels like no one will ever care enough to do anything about it, so i end up directing my rage places where i DO feel like i can move the needle. not great and not something im proud of but it feels like a losing battle so often to me and it’s exhausting.

So you’ve suspended the DOD account for posting about killing people in the Caribbean, right? I assume you must have, since its an obvious violation of international law and they have the means the follow through. You’ve done that, too, right?
