I’m absolutely obsessed with today’s thrift book haul ($20~), wow! I love the treasures you can find with just a little bit of digging.

I’m currently reading Sociopath by Patric Gagne - I find the narcissism of the author nearly unbearable to tread through. imagine my surprise when I looked her up and found out she’s most likely a fraud. 🙄 I don’t know if I’m going to finish this.

I wish we could fast forward through this misogynist tradwife era and just get to the part where someone writes the feminine mystique again.

I really wish I liked the StoryGraph interface but it’s almost unusable to me. I think I must one of the few people who actually enjoys the simplicity of Goodreads and doesn’t need all the extra stuff.

Support independent Bookstores! 📚 Last week I went to Quirky Used Books in Albuquerque, NM. They have a HUGE selection of quality books and it’s extremely well organized with a helpful staff. #BooksofBluesky

Thrifting for books brings me so much joy, it’s hard to even put into words how satisfying the hunt is. I’ve also had so many lovely/unexpected conversations about books with cashiers or other shoppers that possibly would never happen inside a bookstore. Ugh, my favorite. ❤️ #booksky

I know pointing out hypocrisy doesn’t matter anymore, but if there’s one person I wouldn’t want to be the judge of who goes into locker rooms, it would be the man who openly boasted about walking into dressing rooms of underage girls

Just did a pretty fun book haul at a thrift store near me: only $4 for 12 books I wanted to read or own anyway is hard to beat. #booksky

considering doing a full little house on the prairie rewatch (which I haven’t done since I was a teen and renting dvds from the library). there’s 208 episodes, so it could be a decent distraction from the current hellscape

What if, I don't know, there was good news. Have we thought about doing that.

My screen time has been embarrassingly high, but the last few weeks have felt similar to the beginning of the pandemic. Hard to pull away, and the outside world is uninviting.

i think people who complain about the language police are, by and large, just cowards. say whatever you want! no one is going to stop you. but people may judge you or even, if you say the wrong thing in front of the wrong person, pop you in the mouth. but that’s life!
