#TheRunningMan. Fun but forgettable. Loved seeing Sandra Dickinson appear though. Not seen her in anything for about 30 years I think but pleased to see I still recognised her. You can’t really not if you know her! It was ok but One Battle…had more tension and thrills in 5 mins than this did in 133.

A Sunday spent watching #TwinPeaks with my son, introducing my daughter to #Buffy. TV nirvana. Just need to get the cat to watch #Dark with me and you can stick a fork in me as I’ll be done.

More #TwinPeaks watching with my son. This show will never ever cease to entertain me. Some scenes just give me goosebumps it’s that good. Yes it’s downhill part way through S2 but, as I’ve said oodles of times before, low quality TP is still better than 90% of other TV. Lynch and Frost ruled!

My son has finally got into #TwinPeaks. Makes my heart burst with excitement! We’ve just started season 2 and he’s commenting how odd it is. He ain’t seen nothing yet!! Wait until we get to FWWM and some of the Return! 😂

Wow! #onebattleafteranother deserves its title. Not sure I’ve had that intense a cinema experience for a long time. Felt like being on a rollercoaster. Leo also reminded me of Ray Liotta at his manic best. Brilliant stuff and best enjoyed with the sound loud!! 9/10.

#Frankenstein was good. Very touching and surprisingly light (visually) for such a gothic tale. And another Ralph Ineson spot! I think I’m going to create an I Spy Ralph Ineson book for horror films or maybe Where’s Ralphy in the style of Where’s Wally!

I have two for me and they’re some of my top tv ever. Twin Peaks (strange and utterly wonderful) and British version of Utopia (gritty, disturbing and totally compelling). Utopia isn’t that well known I don’t think so anyone with a love of mystery (and a strong stomach) should try it.

#InFabric was one of the strangest films I’ve seen in a long long time. A cross between Halloween 3 and BHS Department Store if directed by David Lynch. If you like your films surreal and utterly bonkers give this a go. Not sure I can rate it but didn’t regret my viewing.

Watched #Weapons a few days ago and tonight’s ’fun’ was #BringHerBack’. Another goodie! The 2020s really seems to be a bit of a new golden age / renaissance for the old #horror genre doesn’t it? Solid 7.5/10 and the Aussies do make some good films!

#Itwelcometoderry episode 2 a minor improvement on episode 1 but a reliance on gross out scares and painfully slow plot development isn’t impressing me. Still early days but it’s not even mediocre.

#Weapons. 8/10 (I think). As with many things of this ilk if you have a hugely intriguing premise then it’s almost impossible to create a satisfying conclusion. Still very entertaining and a huge improvement on Barbarian for me. Cregger just needs to learn to ‘stick the landing’.

Enjoying Wind Waker on NSO and still can’t remember if I’ve played all the way through before (suspect not) but can’t decide if the Korok folk are cute or creepy (in a Green Man / Wicker Man way). Suspect they tread the line between the two!

Happy Halloween! 🎃 No particularly themed plans for me today but should be having my annual Ghostwatch viewing this evening which I’m very much looking forward to. If any Halloween / horror fans out there are yet to see it do try and do so. It’s fantastic and so influential. #ghostwatch #halloween

More I think about it the more ridiculous and stoopid (even by horror standards) I feel THAT THING in the new It : Welcome to Derry was. It’s got me quite miffed to be honest. I’m generally quite forgiving on weird things (one has to be as a horror fan) of the genre but this was daft in my view.

Just finished a long overdue rewatch of It (original of course). As said before first episode with the kids is far superior and Curry nails it. Dessert was It: Welcome to Derry episode one and already I’m a smidge concerned about what I saw. Very odd! Will give it the benefit of the doubt though.

Today my week of utter laziness and couch-potatofied petrifaction commences. A week’s leave with kids (Portal 2 co-op maybe), wife, PS5 (Silent Hill 2 maybe) and Switch (Wind Waker for the first time maybe) and televisual and filmic entertainment commences.
