Corporate greed and hyper capitalism are fueling the Trump administration. Let’s look into that.
There are two possible reasons for this happening with DOGE. One, that Elon Musk wants to somehow benefit from the downfall of America. Two, he is trying to see if he can take over the world. Neither is a good outcome for us.

Never forget that Trump was the culmination of 40 years of stagnant wages, widening inequality, corruption, dog-whistle politics, and economic gains for the rich.

If we fail to address this, we should expect future Trumps as far as the eye can see.

I’ve been in or around politics for over a half-century now. I’ve watched as corporations ransacked our system. In 1952, the corporate share of federal tax revenue was 32%. In 2020, it was down to 7%. Here’s how we break the corporate oligarchy and return power to the people. Two software developers became quietly known in tech circles in the 2000s and were almost the reverse image of each other. Both developed web alternatives. Both developed alternatives to the current government model.

The right has read Yarvin and it shows.
The left has not read Marsh and it shows.

Tonight let’s revisit regulation. Regulation is the guardrails to try to provide a healthy society- not an insanely wealthy society- a healthy society. Regulation keeps us safe. Now billionaires, they are going to say it stifles growth. Let’s ask ourselves, is this growth benefiting us?

ABC, NBC & CBS dedicated about 16 minutes of airtime last night to the California wildfires without once mentioning climate change.

Since the news failed do it's job, here's a short summary of the role of climate change and wildfire risk:

We get sold on “the American dream” of consumption that fuels our economy, but it’s not.

It is making people poorer. The jobs are not staying here. The billionaires that created this dream are getting richer and we are dying under their American dream.

How does this get messaged in a serious way?

MAGA is big mad because they just figured out “deregulation” and “boarder control” is billionaire code for “do whatever we want to make us richer”.

Do you know why we are seeing more billionaires?

Because of tax loopholes that allow the the super wealthy not to pay taxes.

You cannot be for a balancing the budget and keeping these loopholes.

You cannot be for cutting social service programs and not pay taxes.

This.
The vicious cycle of monopolization:

1) Corporations argue that their growth is just part of the free market.
2) Use their monopoly power to gouge consumers.
3) Take a portion of their profits to make political donations.
4) Lobby against antitrust enforcement.
5) Repeat.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Today is a good day to remember that Elon Musk and Peter Thiel are buying politicians to create monopolies.

Competition is important for reducing corporate greed and for true capitalism to succeed.

Poverty is a tool of coercion and control. An impoverished and defeated population keeps the rich at the top. The struggle to exist day to day extinguishes the struggle to resist what’s keeping you there. They’ll feed you enough that you’ll thank them; never enough that you’ll look for more.

Let’s get real on the DOGE Department. It’s just propaganda. The podcast? Propaganda. X? Propaganda.

For the past five years his ego has gotten the best of him. This will be no different. He will just tell us he’s doing outrageous things for a reaction.

What do all these Cabinet appointments have in common?

There is a circle of abuse around every person in this administration.

So, the new question becomes, Democrats, what are we going to do about it?
