Whole fucking thing makes me sick to my stomach. An abject fucking liar, a man who lies as easily as he fucking breathes, threatening an organisation which strives for truthfulness. And plastic patriots like the Mail and Farage urging him on. Jackels.

If you wrap yourself in national flags and go on a fascist march with violent thugs… you shouldn’t be validated by our media.
It was a march for racism, for radicalised prejudice, for mass deportations and for threat against ethnic minorities. It was an ugly expression of division.
Shameful.

NOTHING will prepare you for this 45-second story arc. From "I'm just doing this because I love the flag, it's totally grassroots, and I'm not part of anything political"... to who actually gave him the flags the night before.

Anyone who believes it is an innocent movement needs to see this.

All sounds very “I’ll end the Ukraine war in 24 hours”
Farage promise to "stop the boats within two weeks of winning gov't" unravelling.

Apparently, it means "after passing laws", "as quickly as possible", he "believes", the boats will still cross, but all will be deported "if necessary" and "sensible", "unless we have a duty of care".

Bravo, Beth! 👏🏽

“It was the moment that someone finally called out the breathtaking, weapons-grade hypocrisy that has defined Farage’s entire approach to free speech. While he was giving testimony about the threats to freedom of expression in the UK, his own party bans journalists from their conference”
Watching @raskin.house.gov eviscerate Nigel Farage in Congress was a rare joy.

Finally someone called out the charlatanry:

Free speech for me, not for thee - while wearing a GB News pin in Washington.

I go. I try. And I will keep trying, even though it feels like a losing battle. Because I remember the whole point of the far-right astroturfing of social media is to make it feel like a losing battle, to make us give up.

Anyway, a few snippets on small boat crossings and immigration.

It was great to bump into @garyseconomics.bsky.social as I was delivering my petition for a Wealth Tax to 10 Downing Street.

Gary has done an absolutely amazing job making the case for a wealth tax and real action against wealth inequality.

This is a campaign we are going to win!

This is a really big deal. Who knows what will happen but this is a really solid case brought by a group of incredible MPs and human rights lawyers.

And all they want is for the UK government to try and find out the truth.
