Imagine if 2000 children had gone missing from boarding schools. How much outrage there would be. Imagine how quickly there would be demands for inquiries and actions. Instead because these are unaccompanied asylum seeking children they will either be ignored or blamed for being trafficked.
How is this not the top story on every news bulletin?
This has been happening for years and instead of doing anything to protect children successive governments have made the situation worse. This isn't just on councils. It is part of failings on a State level.

More then 2,000 trafficked children and lone child asylum seekers missing from UK councils’ care
Charities say vulnerable young people are being failed by local authorities, the police and central government

EveryDoctor is carrying out really important research about NHS privatisation, which is crucial right now because it looks like Keir Starmer and his team are about to enter *new* private partnerships, a lot like PFI deals 🚨🚨🚨

We’ve already discovered that 69 NHS trusts are…

Wake up @teamlabouruk.bsky.social who on earth thinks this is remotely ok?
Hey Labour

Remember the majority of voters who believe in treating people decently and not stealing from those who've endured months and years of hardship fleeing war and persecution to seek a place of safety?

We're still over here 👋
November 17, 2025 at 8:24 AM
@teamlabouruk.bsky.social who do you actually represent? This rhetoric, the attitude is offensive and cruel, out of tune and plain embarrassing
My granddad was a refugee, my wife, our close friends and those of our kids are either immigrants or the children of immigrants.

Do ministers ever think about the message their rhetoric on "handouts" and "golden tickets" for migrants sends about whether this is a government for people like us?

It should appall absolutely everyone that millions of patients are unable to access timely healthcare in the NHS right now. It’s a national scandal and it’s been caused by direct decisions made by politicians.

Get this
Dear Mahmood/Labour,

Once the strutting fascist, Yaxley Lennon, is taking credit for your policies, you must know you’ve completely lost your way. You need to get your head out of your arse and your account off X.

Yours
The real silent (fair-minded and ignored) majority of the UK
Tommy Robinson is claiming credit for the language/policy being used by the Labour government (about deporting people found to be refugees once their home country is deemed safe)

It’s in the title of the article
In 2023-24 HMRC issued 456 penalties to wealthy individuals for £5.8m, 25 prosecuted.

Tax scams designed by accountants, lawyers; five prosecutions in 2023-2024.

Govt taking powers to snoop on benefit claimants' bank accounts; mainly poor, old, sick. Nothing equivalent on tax abuse industry.
Nothing will change until the political system is freed from the clutches of corporations and the super-rich
The law is being used to enforce existing power structures for the benefit of the few

We remember and watched the Tories denigrate Doctors @teamlabouruk.bsky.social
Maybe appreciate those who got you through a pandemic and impress us with unexpected thoughtfulness
Does a resident doctor earn more than an MP? No. Let’s save the desperate morality grasps from politicians then. MPs have had umpteen pay rises since 2010 and they have quietly and relentlessly awarded these to themselves, regardless of what the public is going through.

Seems like a good day for us to remind ourselves about some of the donations that Wes Streeting has received….🚨🚨🚨
November 14, 2025 at 3:04 PM
No Wes Streeting, the BMA is not acting like a cartel. It’s acting like a trade union. And frankly it’s disgusting to hear you talk like this while huge numbers of doctors can’t get NHS jobs because you haven’t created them, while millions of patients are on waiting lists🚨🚨🚨

Such a pity that frontline NHS staff aren’t given the space in newspapers to air their thoughts, as Streeting is. The NHS is currently missing around 100,000 staff. It’s no surprise when they’re bashed continually for fighting for fair working conditions🚨

You’ve got to wonder about a Labour government that’s this furious about frontline NHS staff fighting for fair working conditions. Many resident doctors cant even find work in the NHS right now, because Starmer and Streeting are failing to create jobs for them.. 🚨🚨🚨

This article completely misses out that there’s a £1 billion redundancy bill associated with making the changes Wes Streeting wants, and no one wants to pay it, so thousands of staff have been left in limbo. There’s nothing ‘efficient’ about that 🚨
