He's not that big but we tease him a bit. 😹 He is impressively larger than his littermate though. Takes up a whole couch cushion! (Cyd is not a small cat but Floof is ginormous)

Oh wow! This new picture book by @leewind.bsky.social with gorgeous illustrations by Kelly Mangan is a fantastic addition to school libraries. With some American history and a lot of specific info on how kids can be allies, it hits just the right balance of compelling story & curiosity spark. 💚📚

This was probably my fave from a lot of contenders. Our town is *heavily* Mormon so this was big 😹

I love him! He has a huge side spot just like our Big Fluff 😻

Big Fluff, spot side up, does his sentry duty at the footboard of the bed. He is lounging with his luxurious black fluffy tail streaming out behind him, huge white paws hanging over the end of the bed frame. He is facing away from the camera, craning his neck to look down the hall through the half open bedroom door.

Our part of Northern California hits triple digits too, but no humidity! It gets so hot that the cats melt, even in the a/c 😭

Cyd and Floof are littermates but Cyd has shorter fur and fewer/less dramatic whiskers

The Miss has shorter, very straight whiskers. Which are often broken off due to her tendency to lead with her head (still)

What is happening to your majestic eyebrow whiskers, friend? 😹

If you look close, you can see that three of Big Fluff's super long eyebrows are short and...traumatized on the ends. Very mysterious. We have no open flames in the house. Kid says it seems to be a regular thing, just on that side? 🤔

Currently though, she's preventing me from drinking my tea hot. Because even in their Stinky Teenager phase, kittens are still Baby at least seven times a day 💚
