For reference: here are the new babies I'm doing the coms for! Their serious government names are Darius and Hyperion, but they'll probably be known as Mousse and Cheeto Puff. I have top-opening enclosures + supplies for them in storage, but I'd like to get some front-openers for my own sanity

It bears repeating that 5calls.org makes it incredibly easy to contact your reps. They give you the phone numbers, a script to read, and a run down of what is happening with each issue. I just called my senators in my pjs half awake and I'll probably do it some more later
It's cruel. It's an incredible escalation of their anti-trans culture war. And there is still a chance to stop the provision in the Senate, so if you have a trans person in your life you care about, I implore you - make your voice heard with your Senators. Both of them. Republican OR Democrat.
