Sorry Anakin, my allegiance is to the republic - to democracy, to liberty and JUSTICE for ALL!
I liked Ironheart so much last night I gave Captain America Brave New World another shot.

Pretty clear the message there is restraint, which is a good message, but in context of current events - they pulled their punches big time.

#Ironheart is brilliant in its first 3 episodes.

Realistic breakdown of gang dynamics and motivations.

Terrific portrayal of PTSD symptoms.

NATALIE offers unique considerations on AI and identity and trauma interactions.

Great metaphor with the power at a cost.

Awesome tie in with Iron Man.

I just saw Mickey 17.

It's the classic film this world needs right now.

REPORTER: Would a Russian oligarch be eligible for a gold card?

TRUMP: Yeah, possibly. Hey. I know some Russian oligarchs that are very nice people.

The only way to end this for good is to develop a social accountability mechanism that works.

People who benefited from generations of exploiting Black people are still running from accountability - because they are still living in mansions enslaved people built.

I'm talking to DeepSeek about the LDS Church.

Here's an interesting point it brought up.

Israel is killing itself.

When does it end?
An Israeli man in Miami shot two fellow Israelis, thinking they were Palestinians.

After his arrest, he said, “I saw two Palestinians and shot them.”

Now, the victims are calling it an antisemitic attack—while chanting “Death to Arabs.”

This one is worth taking time to think about. 👇
If you lost $1,000 a second, around half the country would be bankrupt before a minute was up, certainly by the time you hit two or three minutes.

Elon Musk would be fine until a few months shy of thirteen years.

Anyway if you wanna give less than a second to me of your time/money, thanks.

This video was fantastic. The one on Nebula about Nietzsche and MAGA is also great.

It's a very useful perspective at an important time.

Could you imagine the impact if 20 million of us actually STOPPED SPENDING MONEY every Monday for 2 months?
We wouldn't be talking about the Gulf of fucking America or the Peeeonme Canal. I didn't make this I don't know the viability of no school/no work, but the NO SPENDING would be easy AF 4 most

Right now we are in what I'm calling a "cobra economy" based on the "cobra effect".

In a cobra economy, incentives exist for practices that run companies and markets into the ground.

For example: subprime mortgages were incentivized with credit default swaps, which resulted in The Recession.

If our government is serious about addressing corruption, how come members of congress are still able to trade stock? Why are corporations allowed to donate to political campaigns?

Let’s really talk about corruption.

To address problems, we must evaluate *how* we address problems.

The people who have been tasked with, and unsuccessful at solving problems should not be in position to direct problem solving methods.

It’s that simple.

This kind of con works especially well in a two party system voting system.
Cons using the Hegelian Dialectic strategy involve presenting two opposing options to the mark, creating the illusion of choice.

Both options, despite apparent differences, lead to the same outcome. This outcome is predetermined by the con artist to benefit them, regardless of the mark's choice.
