I haven't fucked with a new mainline Pokemon game since X and Y, but the stuff I grew up on stays great in the form of ROM hacks. Emerald Seaglass fuckin' slaps.

Assassin's Creed 1 is weird and dated, but like, I kinda dig it? The combat is ass and the parkour controls are not clicking with me at all, but I can see why it made a splash in 2007 even with all its faults.

So the new Frankenstein movie slaps. Sticks closer to the book, except for all the times it makes an excuse to make it darker, and the violence is metal as fuck

The Xbox 360 online store is in such a weird place. I wanted to buy some DLC for Gears of War 3, but you can't access the store on the 360 anymore. So I had to buy it on my Xbone, then download it on my 360. Technology stays weird.

One thing about modern big budget games that I like is the shift away from pre-rendered cutscenes in favor of real time ones. Atsu's dialogue hits better when she's literally covered in the blood of her enemies.

Okay, but otherwise, Ghost of Yotei is really good. I know I'm supposed to dislike open world games on principle cause there's so many, but this one's great.

i bet a lot of these players have been playing baseball since they were kids. that’s probably a big reason why they’re so good. if you learn this kind of stuff when you’re young it gives you a big head start
