The most obvious lesson to draw from the leaked Signal chat is that these people really are morons. It's not a public act, it's not a schtick, there's not some secret back room where they drop the facade. They are genuinely stupid, incompetent people.

Instead of working on anything important, spent my day installing and configuring emacs. I have to admit, those nerds are onto something. EVIL makes the switch so much easier from Vim and Lisp is just great to work with over lua, well for me at least.

I bought a bottle of Noodler's Baystate Blue like a decade ago, I never finished it because of how inconsistent it is. On my favorite cheap paper it feathers while others perform great. I like the color, but I think I'd be better off with Asa-gao.

My favorite thing is arguing with someone and then they give up trying to argue their point so they resort to feeding the conversation to chatGPT and then using it to reply. The sudden tone shift and paragraphs of text is always funny.

one thing I like about these old fountain pen's is just the variety, these two are pretty close in age and model. Yet sized & styled slightly differently down to the nib. You really never know what you're going to get until you finally get one inked.

doing some nib smoothing on this Mabie Todd fountain pen, it's no longer ripping paper when just writing anything now it only rips it when you do an up right motion. From looking at it under a loop a small piece of the iridium tip seems to have chipped off some time ago.
