I can recommend spending 48h in a nice village without internet.
Gave into my meat cravings and picked up 🇬🇷 for dinner.

Given the weather I think I'll cancel my travel plans for the weekend. Bummer.

Another weekend where I can't ride my bicycle. I'm developing cabin fever.

I think you need to add the Go language by that definition of “slopware” because of words.filippo.io/claude-debug...
Claude Code Can Debug Low-level Cryptography
Surprisingly (to me) Claude Code debugged my new ML-DSA implementation faster than I would have, finding the non-obvious low-level issue that was making Verify fail.

The idea that developers should listen to a random person about what is acceptable tooling to use in their projects is laughable. No contribution to open source, just scolding.
Between "The Linux Kernel is tainted by AI" and "You're not allowed to use LLMs for alt-text" it's another beautiful day of AI discussion.

Do I really want a pot of tea, or am I just in the mood to light a tea light?

Spurred into action by a comment on Hacker News, I asked Claude to analyze our chats and see if it thinks I could be neurodivergent. It told me that I display traits of autism.

Bluesky community! This is my official NYC mayor account. I’ll be posting updates on what’s happening at City Hall and how we’re delivering for New Yorkers. It’s great to be here.

I can't believe xAI is producing an endless stream of CSAM and non-consensual pornography yet there are no consequences for the owner or the engineers enabling it

A lot of people who claimed to care about AI alignment are still using the app that is running a Nazi pedophile LLM

As a person who does believe capable AI risks are real, it’s frustrating to see the community not exactly behaving responsibly. If you can’t find it in yourself to say or do something about a literal, present, AI harm (Grok being used for abuse) what is the point of you

Cycling to work today was a real adventure. On my way back home I'll stick to the bike paths not covered by snow and ice.
