Tonight I picked up a lot of old cooking print media & ephemera. There’s a mix of ‘official’ government-sponsored material, commercially produced recipe books & advertising material, as well as some personal recipe cards & newspaper clippings. 😍

Pls keep your fingers crossed that the thunderstorms hold off. 🤞🏻

Connected with my local community association about planting a little garden box in the neighbourhood and on Friday, we had such a great chat and walk around... I think we've identified a spot for me to work on and I'm so delighted. 😊🌿

Our porch is finally getting redone after almost a 1.5 year delay and although, I’m very grateful, our garden is destroyed. I’m so sad because I spend a lot of time, energy and money in making a nice garden and it’s ruined 😞

Luna, our senior cat, is still warming up to Frankie, our kitten. She's come along way & will now hang out, play a bit but for the most part is not into it.

But today, Frankie had to go in the carrier for the groomer's & Luna was SO concerned & kept checking in on her. 🥺💛
