Creating whatever makes me happy
Can confirm this is accurate, with the addition of occasionally stabbed fingers 😅

I love that sleeping druid! It reminds me of the giants at the Lost Gardens of Heligan in Cornwall :)

Plot twist - she just spent eternity collecting more yarn and ate anyone that questioned her 😂

Ouch! Hopefully that healed quickly. My worst was about a month ago, I went right along the side of the top knuckle of my middle finger. Must have caught a nerve or something because it was bruised and swollen for a week...and I still won't wear finger guards 😅

I am by no means an expert or historian, I just got curious when I started felting and went down the rabbit hole!

If memory serves it was part of an exploration on what is possible with wool from the 60s as a rebellion at what you can/can't do.It developed different methods over time eventually including needle felting. I think Sweet Pea Dolls was a good resource for the history of the craft when I looked it up

I'll have to look that up!
I think I have some teeny tiny books in my craft stash that would be the right scale for these ghosts so could potentially use those but also considering making a comfy armchair, or maybe a rocking chair...or would that ghost need to be knitting? The ideas are endless!

My other idea was some kind of bookish ghost but not sure how to make that work yet 🤔

Tag me if you post it, I'd love to see! These were really good to do as it gives a lot of practice for the basics, especially the pumpkin with all those indented lines :)
