Today I had another go at drawing with oil pastels. This was inspired by a photo of blue web caps. I really like how the mushroom shading looks!

My desk is looking so much better with these bunnies that I needle felted and the drawers I heavily altered to fit in and stained to match!

Three sections of an Old Charm Bureau split with two horizontal sections on top of each other then a vertical section on the right. The section to the right has a 3 drawer unit that I adapted to fit in there and stained dark oak to match the bureau. The top left section has a dark oak stained catch-all drawer made with the scraps of the drawer unit. The bottom left section has a needle felted tree stump and mossy mound with 5 needle felted bunnies and two crystals cut to look like flowers and three polished crystals.

I've been playing with the oil pastels this evening. I definitely need to learn how to draw trees (or just how to draw in general) but blending the sky colours was fun!
