Only after I had cut out 6 of 8 pattern pieces for this stash busting project & sewn 4 panels together did I remember it is velvet so I should be checking the nap matches across the panels...could be a mismatched kind of project!

Taking a break from the more fun projects to paint all 1600 tiny cut outs to hide the MDF edges on my radiator cover. It takes about an hour to paint 100 of them...I could be here a while but it will look so much better finished!

I decided to change the colours on my mushroom project to play with mixing blue shades for a gradient effect. It isn't covered very well but I love how that lets the tones come out as I felt the lines into the underside of the mushroom cap!
