Um, duh. Do your own homework if you want to learn. It seems like a no brainer to me.
From the same paper: people using a *search engine* demonstrated "approximately 34-48% lower total connectivity
across the brain". Brain connectivity is a good measure of... brain connectivity.
“When participants used ChatGPT to draft essays, brain scans revealed a 47% drop in neural connectivity across regions associated with memory, language, & critical reasoning.

Their brains worked less, but they felt just as engaged—a kind of metacognitive mirage.”🧪
