In my view, this is also an aesthetic (or rather: anesthetic) effect of AI slop and #PlatformRealism: it makes the most horrible and unimaginable things look like something mundane and commonplace, it gives images promoting abhorrent crimes the look of holiday cards and cheap clickbait ads

Tbh sometimes I don't even see the point in trying to do things better (and I am not even in the US). It is demoralizing and devastating. Shame on everyone who supports this.

I listened to stories, to podcasts, I read the books, and even if I don't agree with the lack of empathy, I can grasp being selfish. But THAT? The climate inaction, the lack of basic decency... I mean, it was all for owning the libs?
