The rejection of the gender binary by gender non conforming folks must be genuinely terrifying to folks who have centered their identities around the binary and have a lot of stock in manhood or womanhood.

Something I feel like is frequently overlooked is the somatic effect of hormones for trans folks (who want and use hormone therapy). Boiling it down to “wanting to look a particular way” is an oversimplification.

The Guardian is reporting that Trump is openly violating a court order, and has transferred multiple transgender women to men's facilities.
We know in Florida, transgender women are having their hair shorn, feminine items confiscated, and pulled off medication.
This is inhumane and illegal.

Two BIG wins in Motnana!
We killed two anti-trans bills today (a drag ban & a bill requiring CPS to remove trans kids from parents).
I'm so grateful for Montana Democrats, who have stood unwavering in their support of trans rights. And grateful to all the Republicans who said enough is enough.

Never will it ever make sense to me that instead of the gov properly funding our schools, a corporation created a program where you can send a scrap of food packaging in the mail and they’ll donate a couple cents to a school. What a ridiculous bandage on a fixable problem.

There’s a lot of genuine fear right now, but there’s genuine hope too. Plenty of Americans are discovering a personal buy in to liberation for the first time ever, and stoking their own flames of revolution. There’s more and more of us by the day, and we’re so fucking angry. 🔥🧱
