I’m really happy we’ve been able to go to so many concerts this year. Every single one has been so special and I really find live music to be one of the things that gets me out of my head and into the present. This year has been awful in many aspects but all the concerts were bright spots 💜

I don’t know I just think the Great Lakes are incredible and I think that with regard to natural wonders that they are often overlooked but based on their beauty, sheer power, cultural impact, and absolute scale, they really are just magnificent and we truly don’t give them the respect they deserve.

My mood has been better these past few days despite the turn to longer nights and colder days which is weird for me. But I think the little routines of comfort and warmth have been helping to make me feel more grounded and less like I’m lost and floating adrift. It’s been something I can hold to

Depression has been bad and continues to be bad but small rituals have been reviving me. Drinking tea deliberately, eating sweet crackers with homemade jelly, doing tarot, lighting a candle, watching the ducks at work. Small acts to just sustain me through whatever this all is

I just want to feel like myself again. It feels so long, months since I’ve had any real clarity or emotional stability. I’ve been swimming to keep my head above water not knowing when I’ll get to shore. I’m trying to do things that remind me of the person I was, a person I liked, who I used to be.

I haven’t had to take zofran in awhile but I have been so so so nauseous recently that I just had to take some today. I feel like I have just been so incredibly anxious all the time these past couple months ugh. It really sucks

In honor of Edgar Allan Poe's 176th deathday, here are a few of my recent pieces inspired by Poe's works 🫀

I’ve been having way too many nightmares recently and it’s especially not good because I tend to have very vivid and realistic dreams. So waking up with visceral memories is just not great 😩 the only thing that helps is that most of my dreams are lucid but they’ve been so horrible recently
