heads up that bluesky doesnt show posts from other languages by default on your timeline, and its cutting you off from a lot of the community
go to bsky.app/settings/lan... and deselect any language from this setting, or else you might not see any of the new japanese users at all!

bc twt is exploding again I see that everyone has really strong opinions about this app. I have managed to curate my space quite a bit myself, so I can’t speak for others…. but idk i think willfully uploading my art into the jibjab machine is so funny it’s sad. 😭

This is the cover art I did for NOVA, a manga zine from the 1980's. I was a huge fan of Patalliro, and had the albums, laser disc film, and most of the manga. I don't keep up with it anymore, but I really loved the unique art style.

Share your knowledge if/when you can. Teaching other people how to do what you do doesn’t lessen your art - it just means more and better art for everyone.
I appreciate when people are willing to tell me about their brushes, how they study, etc… I want to put that back out into the world.
