In a metaphor that was too on-the-nose, there was a military flyover in Washington, D.C. that drowned out Epstein survivors who were speaking out.

I'm happy to report they persisted.

As a survivor, I can't think of a more fitting metaphor than a rapist creating loud noises with planes as a survivor tries to tell her story. I mean... just wow. Nevertheless, she persisted.

This is not transparency.

Nearly everything the GOP just “released” has already been released. This is a pathetic attempt by Republicans to buy them more time to bury this crisis.

RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES.
The House just released the first tranche of documents in its Epstein investigation.

But the materials likely won't satisfy those clamoring for more info about the case. Most of what was released in the first batch of files is already publicly available.
House releases first trove of Epstein files
The materials, most of which are already publicly available, were produced as a result of a congressional subpoena.

(1/2) Are you willing to hear an optimistic statement for a change?

Per major-media reports, Trump didn't pull back the Stefanik nomination simply because he worried the GOP could lose her seat.

He and his advisors were worried about a series of events that could lead to them losing the _House_.
