11 years ago, they took down the confederate flag at the South Carolina state house and it actually got support from a wide majority of people across the political spectrum. Even Trump at the time said it was the right decision. We live in a completely different world now.

I can live with sports betting existing in a vacuum, but this idea that all of society should constantly be wagered on *too* - to the degree that a movie's potential Rotten Tomatoes score should not only be wagered on but constitutes as news now... abominable.

This unintentionally gets at why it's so important to beat back AI, because it isn't just a fight against a thing that sucks. It's a fight to assert your autonomy as a person who won't be completely at the disposal of whatever random bullshit corporations decide you should be into from now on.
AI sits in billions of phones. Refusing to engage won't stop it, just leaves vulnerable people without knowledge. Demand ownership and control, not abstinence.
Abstinence From AI Is Not the Answer
Opinion | Refusing to use AI won’t protect society. Responsible resistance must include gaining knowledge about it.

Here's the ICE agent "defending himself" by shooting into the driver's side window of a car that's pulling *away* from him.

Put this photo on the front page of every newspaper in America.

An AI add from a sports pundit making fun of the time they chose to play a phone game instead of paying attention to the championship series they were covering. Don’t have the words to express how sad this is

Modern conservatism is such a fucking joke and it’s not even a good one. I can’t believe people sat back and watched them take power when it was so obvious where this was going.

Charlie lied about things you could fact check and disprove. Regardless, his ideology meshing into actual policy has done REAL damage to REAL people. More than anything, i'm just tired of being gaslit by this country

I Think it’s as simple as

You don’t have to cheer on political violence
You don’t have to celebrate someone’s death
You don’t have to go out of your way to be gracious or considerate if a person passes and they spent time here trying to make life worse for others.

I don’t think any of that is hard

With the recent trade that the Chicago bulls made is the exact reason why with this current front office it’s kinda hard to see them stick around. They don’t know if they want to contend(stupidity) or start a rebuild. And they somehow do a terrible job with both of them. It’s so mind numbing really

Also for the pacers pacifically, this is probably the most well rounded team you’ve ever see for awhile. For okc, the fans finally gotten a second chance and with that they won the title, really great for them

Sucks that the finals ended like this but overall this has been a really great matchup we had in quite some time. But the unfortunate part is that it will be a bit tinted with the injury to Tyrese

That Haliburton injury means this game will either get a storybook ending so incredible that they'll literally make movies and shows about it or an ending that will be regarded as one of the most unsatisfying what-if's of all time. Polar opposite possibilities.

I’m really sad about this for tyrese Haliburton. One of my favorite players in the league and we all knew the risk for him to play and you just hope it worked out for him. It pains me seeing him yelling no like that☹️
