If you fall for a billionaire telling you to hate your neighbors, especially if you claim to be Christian, I don't know, man. That's pretty stupid.

So my dad was telling me he bought a dozen eggs and realised, when he went to use them, that it was a pack of ten. Shrinkflation strikes again I guess *sigh*

I wonder how small they think products can get before they feel any shame! Eggs in a pack of two?

Coincidentally, I heard Scott Jennings for the first time today, while listening to a podcast. He is a total dipshit.
Looking forward to Scott Jennings going on CNN tonight and defending (checks notes) swastikas and nooses as being symbols of anything other than hate.

The very rich are some seriously low-quality people.

We need to stop letting people who are worse than us rule over us.

Yep. Rinehart is interfering in elections & governments.

She already owns Qld and NT State Governments and is throwing everything she’s got at the 2028 federal election to further her own interests. In bed with the Trump MEGA Project 2025 agenda.

The Australian people need to be wide awake.

I'm feeling really amazed by what the Democrats have done re the shutdown. The elections last week were a mandate to be strong. The American people were, clearly, urgently seeking leadership from the Dems. The Dems are underestimating this dangerous time in America horrendously badly 😔

I just want everyone to have the experience of living in dignity with access to sufficient food, safe housing, needed medical care, high quality education, and time to engage with what sparks their curiosity and spirit

this should not be controversial 🫠

I feel the same. Position and power are the results of something other than merit, I now know. My trust is gone, everything is questionable.
I’ll never revere someone for their position in the world again.

The entire purpose of the conservative movement has been tearing down public goods and any policies that limit or hinder in any way corporate profiteering and wealth accumulation by the powerful elite.

It abhors the social contract.

Destruction of modern society is the goal.

I cannot, for the life of me, understand why the Government - or, indeed, any MP keeps its official account on Musk’s X

Or, indeed, any patriotic person.

This is him today: Stirring up civil war in the U.K.

Nothing more British than telling fascists, racists & rotters to fuck right off
X is a cesspit led by an unhinged billionaire who is desperately trying to stir up civil war in Britain.

Nobody with any sense or decency should be there.

No organisations, government departments, or politicians should be there.

Everyone who is, is enabling this monster.

Good advice for USA folks.
Again, I encourage you to talk to your local officials (mayor, city council, state reps and senators) about working immediately to limit the use of public and private area facilities for detention. If immigration enforcement doesn't yet have a big presence in your community, do it preemptively.

I call on the Australian government to #RaiseTheRate of all support payments to a living wage.
This would be the single most effective way to lift the productivity, quality of life, and well-being of the whole country.

💯 this. We should tax the ultra-wealthy aggressively to dismantle their undemocratic economic power and curb the societal distortions that come with it.

It's not about getting their money for us. It's about them not having that much power. Tax and deflate their influence.

Alt: “a pile of money is burning” — a metaphor for taxing the ultra-wealthy — It's not about getting their money for us. It's about them not having that much power. Tax and deflate their influence. Literally burn their money.

They got us in Canada, we're pressured to tip on already outrageous bills while the business owner pays starvation wages and is shopping for a 3rd house.

Push back Australia, don't let it happen there too. It only serves the owner class.

Every so often voters just lose their minds, it seems.

I think this too. It's just where the evidence is leading me. It's a global billionaire project unfolding before us. Hard to believe, but here we are. I hope we resist it in Australia.
I think you need to understand the billionaire network that is driving all of this and using MAGA idiots to win elections that empower them to crush democracy and human rights. They want to thin the global population, control food and other necessities, and institute neofeudalism. They're doing it.
