Do you feel it - our spirits growing lighter? There may be a difficult, scary, journey ahead. But for now let us celebrate the growing hope that more people want to lift each other up than push each other down.

Grijalva: I do think that Speaker Johnson misplayed his hand.

There are people all over this nation who were out there with signs that said, “Swear her in.” They wouldn’t have even known about me otherwise.

Thank you for highlighting how corrupt the system you’re protecting really is.

“I was in shock and terrified,” Figueroa told the Tribune. “The video evidence is clear: Agents crashed into me. I was not involved in any protest or related activity, and I intend to seek justice for how I was treated.”
Agents forcibly opened the woman's car door and pulled her out by her legs, dragging her through the street. They did not identify themselves or tell her that she was under arrest.

Wow! It’s not even close. Food banks can’t keep up with the need…

Question: “How long is this sustainable.”

Food bank director: “It’s not… for every meal that a food bank provides, the SNAP program provides nine. There’s no way we can meet that gap.”

In history, most people in concentration camps did not die in gas chambers or from gunfire…but from neglect and abuse.

America now has concentration camps.

This Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), let us honor those who are dying in them.
She made an ofrenda for people who have died in ICE custody, which is a topic not covered enough by the news. 💔
